Ball so Hard Brushes by With a Sweep

BRYN MAWR, Minn – Ball so Hard came out hungry with a number of singles from Lauren H., Jon, Heidi, Tina Time, and Ali (making her season debut following greater education courses). The squad grabbed three more vs Sons of Pitches in the top half of the second following singles and runs scored from Mary, Phil, and Dan. Ball so Hard would score their only other runs with a pair of single runs in the top half of the 6th and 7th from Tina Time and Dan, respectively, to total seven times across home plate. A stellar pitching performance from Lana Banana held the Sons of Pitches to just one run; supported by strong ‘D’ from Will (making season debut in a shirt with a picture of a face on it), Curtis, Ali, Dan, and Abby.

Ball so Hard stealthy went on to Darby’s with a 3-1 victory in flippy cup to secure the sweep. The sweep was followed by an epic game of survivor which was won by the fast hands of Abby (Double A).

Highlights of the evening included the superior kicking of Curtis, aka I kick wherever I want to Curtis, an amazing catching from Jon, aka I can run through a soccer goal and catch a foul ball anyday Jon, and Abby, aka I can kick with my hands in the pockets of my camouflage pants and still get a single Abby.

Week 4 slates Ball so Hard on field four at 7:30 p.m. for NEON Night. So get your county worker vests out as Ball so Hard looks to secure their third victory of the season.

In other team news, fellow team mate Cory J. is busy scouting talent in on a pirate ship in Florida. Heidi’s trade has been retracted following a strong week three performance. Cait-A missed her third straight game due to wild reasons. Alumni night bought out Lauren Milk-in and friends which narrowly lost out on fan of the game to Amber who showed up in camo without knowing it was camo night.
