Charity Drive Update

Hey Kickballers!

Y'all are doing an awesome job supporting the Aliveness Project (AP) this season and we couldn't be more grateful for the funds you have raised. It will be well spent providing hot meals, education, and integrative therapies to those living with HIV. With our playoffs right around the corner and the holidays soon after that, we want to support the AP in their Holiday Basket Drive.  The AP provides holiday gift baskets every year to over 700 families throughout Minnesota. This is HUGE and brings so much Christmas cheer and goodwill to these families.

We are asking that every player brings a NEW item to donate to Playoffs. Details are still being finalized, but likely it will be in your favor if you do bring something (think:beer).

Please bring: clothing (newborn to XXXXL sizes), gloves/hats, small household items (think: toaster, coffee maker), nonperishable food, toys or gift cards. Please NO gently used items. If any team wants to go above and beyond and adopt a family (roughly $35/family member so a family of 3 would be $105 total), please let either of us know. If any individual would like to donate some of their individual time around the holidays, you can help fill or distribute the gift baskets. They also take donations of homemade baked cookies. Why not bake an extra dozen this holiday season and spread the love?

(Note: please don't bring homemade cookies to Playoffs as the cookies are accepted only between December 17-21st and I will be forced to eat them.)

Watch the blog and email announcements for further details about our Donations Drive at Playoffs.

Thanks again for all of the support!
